Weapons companies

There are numerous companies in Germany, which enable arms exports with their products and services. This includes large companies such as EADS and Daimler AG, known by many as Mercedes car producers, but not for their military products. Moreover, numerous lesser known small and medium-sized businesses are producing armament.

We have selected a provisional list of arms companies and summed up some initial information on the corresponding sites. We will continue to sketch further companies. We will also describe events and campaigns by organisations, such as Critical Stockholders Daimler (Kritische AktionärInnen Daimler) who, through their actions, attempt to convince certain companies to stop producing weapons.

The term arms companies will be used in a further definition, as the arms trade also requires other activities such as financing and logistics. In this context, the role of the Deutsche Bank AG is highly interesting. Therefore, we recommend the relevant text we have posted for you.
